WOT Health & Wellness Policy

Walking Our Talk is committed to the health and safety of our WOT Sisters as well as the greater community.

Please assist us in staying physically healthy by abiding by the following protocols regarding communicable illnesses.

  • Masking: At this time, masks are optional. The only exception is if the meeting space requires masking. If you’re recovering from any illness, please use the following guidelines to help you decide whether you should attend and/or stay masked during the circle or event.

  • Symptoms: If you have a fever* or have had a fever in the last 24 hours or are experiencing any symptoms of Covid or other communicable illness, please do not attend the WOT Circle or event. Symptoms may include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.

*Fever is defined as a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or 37.8 degrees Celsius or higher and measured without the use of fever-reducing medicines (medicines that contain ibuprofen or acetaminophen).

Although there are many wellness benefits to participating in a WOT Circle or Workshop, Walking Our Talk programs and our facilitators and presenters are not acting in the capacity of mental health providers and are not a substitute for receiving professional mental health services.

Thank you for helping to keep our community healthy!
